Description

Build foundational reading skills with phonological awareness and phonics activities designed for older English learners. This resource provides explicit instruction and supported practice for students who need to develop English sound awareness, letter-sound connections, and early reading skills.

Created with upper elementary and early middle school English learners in mind, including students with limited or interrupted formal education (SLIFE), the activities use real photographs to connect unfamiliar English words with meaning.
